Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Hello, kittens!
I'm really excited because not too long ago I received my first VoxwBox from Influenster! I was selected to try out and review the Smashbox Cover Shot VoxBox. Which basically contains the Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette in Soft Light and the Be Legendary Liquid Lip in Moscow Muled.

A quick fact is that Smashbox, a cruelty-free makeup brand, worked in collaboration with Shay Mitchell to create a total of seven palettes. If you're curious about her, head over to her youtube - shaymitchell!

✿ ✿ ✿

Let me start by expressing how much I adore the packaging! Wow, can more eyeshadow palettes be like this? It's small and compact, perfect for traveling. It retails $29.00 for 0.27 oz. and the pans are big enough for your brushes and/or finger! Another thing I loved is that the palette has the name of the shades on the back. I really hate when more expensive brands forget to do so on their palettes. I'm pretty sure they think it's no big deal, but trust me, it is!

Out of the seven in the collection, I received the Soft Light.  To be honest, I wasn't impressed upon first opening the lid. I genuinely thought these shades would be too light for my skin tone. Colors like these tend to be too sheer, sometimes not even showing up on my skin hence why I don't usually go for colors like these! However, wow. These colors are truly pigmented. You can tell from the swatches on my arm, which is a bit tanner than my face that they actually show up! A bit skeptical, I tried blending them on my lids and they did effortlessly. So honestly, these get at solid 10 out of 10!

Keeper and Starlight look very similar in the packaging & arm swatch but they do look different on the lids. Especially with a light over them, maybe it's because each has a different shimmer in their formula? My favorite shade and the one that impressed me the most out of the bunch was Beach House. It is the prettiest brown I've even owned and it gives the perfect pop to brown eyes. So, even if I end up using other palettes in the future (for matte colors since these are all shimmers), I definitely see myself returning to this shade.

Overall, I think this palette is perfect if you're into Korean makeup. These colors are the exact shades most of the 'korean' YouTubers use for their daily makeup looks! If you're into minimal daily wear colors or someone who isn't looking for a heavy, ultra pigmented or dark eyeshadow palette, these will do the trick. The lighter colors worked great as highlighters on me too! So, even though these colors aren't my usual cup of tea, I'm amazed by how pigmented they are for such light colors. Oh, and I never used eyelid primer on these swatches. Imagine if I did!
✿ ✿ ✿

Now, the star of this box, for me at least, was Moscow Muled. This retails for $24 for 0.27 oz. A metallic copper lipstick that I'm in LOVE with & it smells so freaking good. It's so pigmented, as you can see in the swatch. It's not a matte liquid lipstick but it's not a gloss either. It doesn't feel sticky at all and reapplies nicely. Which I know, it's kinda' weird since it looks so shiny in the swatch! You can trust me on this because I hate lipglosses so much. Even more when you have long messy hair that gets everywhere, especially your face. It's not as lasting as a liquid lipstick, but it lasts more than your regular lipstick.

I have never tried Smashbox eyeshadows or lipsticks before this, so I'm pleasantly surprised that they're actually good. I'm probably going to try darker/warmer eyeshadows in the future! Again,  as a small reminder, Yes. These were sent to me for free but as always, everything stated was my most honest opinion!  Thanks for your endless comments & support, it means the world to me!

Smashbox: Cover Shot Eye Palette in Soft Light & Be Legendary Liquid Lip in Moscow Muled ✿REVIEW✿

Hello, kittens and welcome to Dripdrip
Today I'll be reviewing Ipsy's March glam bag. This is a late post, I know but only because my package got lost in the mail somewhere and I had to wait for Ipsy to deliver me a new one. Thank god, that they have the best customer service! (I still hate how long these bags take to get here) Anyways, do you guys like these reviews? Do any of you mind that they're so late? Do any of you actually pay attention to the glam bag value? I need feedback guys! Sometimes I feel it's a bit pointless posting these so lete, but oh well. At least the products samples are getting really good.  Also, I think this month's bag is beautiful. Pink velvet goodness. One of the biggest Ipsy bag so far and top 3 on my personal favs!

March's Glambag contained:
OFRA Cosmetics: Peach Blush - $12
 tarte: cosmetics tarteist™ Delish - 1 ml Value $3.33
 Air Repair Skincare: Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer -  $3.50
Beau Gâchis: Tapered Blending Brush - $12
★ ModelCo: Eye Define Retractable Crayon Liner in Black - $14.00

Total Glambag value: $44.83!
If any of you want to try this monthly bag you can subscribe to Ipsy Here! ♡

tarte: cosmetics tarteist™ Delish lipstick was everything! I think everyone received one in their bag this month. Not only does this shade suits me so much. I got Delish, btw! But it dries down comfortably and since it's such a 'natural' color it doesn't fade hideously like some colors do. I had never considered tarte's lipsticks before until today. I definitely recommend taking a peak. I know I'm swatching all their colors next time I go to Sephora!

★ One thing I really love about Ipsy is that they always manage to send me some kind of brush in every monthly bag, which saves me so much money since brushes are so expensive! This one's a blending brush, Beau Gâchis: Tapered Blending Brush! It is such a good quality and didn't shed on the first use, like some brushes I've previously owned. Keep them coming because you can never, ever, ever have enough of these!

★ This is the ModelCo: Eye Define Retractable Crayon Liner in Black. It's hard for me to tell when an eyeliner's a good eyeliner because they are all the same to me. Honestly! Does any of you have this same issue? This one's black and water resistant. Which It's true to some extent, it did last me all day. Except for the waterline, but I don't think any eyeliner lasts any decent amount of time in the waterline. It did apply smoothly, so that's a plus! I like the fact that it's retractable because who's got time for sharpening pencil liners, right?

★ I have such a hard time finding good moisturizers, just because my skin's so oily, as If you guys hadn't noticed with all my past reviews! Living in a pretty warm and humid island doesn't help much either. Moisturizers often take too long to dry and/or just makes the foundation look so horrid when layered on top. This one, however, did very nicely! To the point, that I actually like this moisturizer which is so weird because this is designed for dull, tired and dehydrated skin. Air Repair Skincare: Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer, I feel like you guys are doing it right! Give me a month or so and perhaps I shall include it in my skincare routine blogpost in the near future.

★ This color is so pretty that I'm even using it on my lids and yes, it's a blush! I just think it's such a cute peachy shade. You can also use it as an highlighter! It's so pigmented and you can even also use a dampened brush with this product for a more intense look. OFRA Cosmetics: Peach Blush is also another one of my favorites out of this month's bag.

So there you have it! Have any of you tried these before or received them too in their Ipsy glam bag? I know most Ipster's are extremely happy with tarteists lipstick! I think Ofra's peach blush was a close runner up. I'm even considering purchasing a few other shades in the future.
Have a greet week guys, see you soon! Much love!

IPSY: Tres Jolie March Glam bag 2017 ✿REVIEW✿

April 12, 2017

✿ ✿ ✿
Hello, kittens and welcome to Dripdrip!
Don't you just love February, filled with reds, rose motif everything, hearts and chocolates? because I know Ipsy doesn't. Making this my biggest pet peeve with this month's bag. It's hella ugly. While other companies are releasing valentine's exclusive themed boxes, Ipsy just had to go all denim on us? I mean, of course, if you're into this style, I mean no offense. It's just not what I was expecting for the month of February. At least it's not as bad as the graffiti one from June 2016 but this one's definitely the runner up.

February's Glambag contained:
Luna By Luna Cosmetics - Highlighter in Calypso: $23
Trust Fund Beauty - $12 Latte: $15
NYX Professional Makeup Butter™ Lipstick - Ripe Berry: $6
Lord & Berry LINE/SHADE Eye Pencil - #221 Black: $5

Total Glambag value: $51.50

If any of you want to try this monthly bag you can subscribe to Ipsy Here!
(When a friend subscribes to the Glam Bag using your referral link you earn 250points, which you can exchange for really nice rewards on their page!)

★ I've never been a fan of highlighters up until recently, simply because I always believed they were oversized and overpriced shimmer eyeshadows. I still do, especially since my oily face already gives me that eternal glow. I'm not as against them as severely as I once was and I've been experimenting with a few lately. This one by luna cosmetic's not bad. It's very pigmented and blends nicely. I keep staring at the price and I honestly don't understand why highlighters are so overpriced? Anyways, I will be using this as eyeshadow too so thank you Ipsy!

★ Let me start by stating that this eyeliner retails for $16... This has to be illegal somewhere. It's waterproof and actually blends decently but no kohl eyeliner pencil should be worth this much. Also, I used it for a night out and It didn't last? I will continue using this because I'm not going to just throw it away, It does work... but I don't see myself purchasing this ever after it runs out.

★ This Nyx butter lipstick is the prettiest shade of berry. I think this was my favorite product out of the entire bag, probably the cheapest too! This lipstick retails at $6 at your local drug store. It's smooth and pigmented, however, it doesn't last. At all. Not even through a cup of coffee. I know it's not a liquid lipstick, but I've had regular lipsticks last longer than this! Might continue using this until I find this shade on a better brand? So, If any of you have any suggestions please let me know! Seriously so in love with this color.

★ My nails look like poop. Okay? POOP. I love Trust Fund Beauty because their nail polishes seem to last longer than the usual nail polish, however, this backfired tremendously as I tried this polish on. At first, I was excited expecting a cute Latte brown, like the name suggests but no... It's the ugliest brown ever. Maybe for nail art, it could be useful? but please don't paint all your nails in this color. The sad part of it all, I convinced myself on leaving them painted like this until they chipped off so I wouldn't have to use acetone on my nails... they've lasted an entire week.

★ This scrub smells so good, It has organic honey and coconut milk! This gentle exfoliator's supposed to be good for sensitive skin and can be used daily. I think this is a good affordable addition to my skin care routine. I can't believe I had never heard of this brand.

What was your favorite item in this month's bag? Any hits or misses? Drop a comment below, with your thoughts! Always wishing you all a happy week; Venus is in retrograde so make sure to keep your emotions well kept and your expenses at bay!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post which means that the products I'll be reviewing were provided to me by YesStyle. However, this will not hinder my true thoughts on each one of the products shown.

Hello, kittens!
Have any of you ever spent nights binge watching all of them K-dramas while wondering how the actors and actresses accomplish such perfect complexion with minimal to no makeup? Sounds impossible, right? The western culture has this weird way of teaching us to hide or mask our flaws, rather than treat it. Whether it is with foundation, concealer, etc. We are bombarded by so many daily ads and makeup products, for example, Primers! You just have to wonder, why waste money on an expensive pore clogging product, that yes, may smoothen out your face so that your makeup looks flawless, but the true solution to smaller pores could be as simple as washing our face properly every day!
I strongly believe that's the thing I love most about Asian cultures, they actually give a great amount of importance to the skin. The largest muscle in our body and the only one you've got!
Now, even if you agree with all of this and are fully committed to begin your new skin care regime, they're so many products out there. How do you even begin? ...and that's YesStyle cue!  "YesStyle is the first online retailer to globally distribute a wide range of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products from Asia through their website YesStyle.com."

Let me introduce you to the YesStyle Beauty Box,
It's a box that contains five full-size and five sample-size skincare products to help you kick start your skin care routine. Not only that, it comes with a small pamphlet that tells you, step by step, the products you have to use and in what order. At first, it might seem like too much! But give it a week and I promise you'll get used to it.

The products that you'll find in this box are:

✧ RiRe Style Black Head Brush Cleanser (20ml) | Full Size
✧ Etude House AC Clean Up Toner (15ml) | Sample Size
✧ Etude House AC Clean Up Pink Powder Mask (20ml) | Sample Size
✧ Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack (20g) | Full Size
✧ REPIEL Smart Hair Mask Magic Steam (Optional) (1 piece) | Full Size
✧ COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch (1 sheet /24 pieces) | Full Size
✧ AGATHA Essentiel Emulsion (10ml) | Sample Size
✧ AGATHA Essentiel Skin (10ml) | Sample Size
✧ Etude House Honey Cera Cream (10ml) | Sample Size
✧ Tony Moly Panda's Dream Pocket Lip Balm (3.8g) | Full Size

Note, that It's been a week since I received and started using the products in this box. It's the time of reference for the performance of the product.

The RiRe - Style Black Head Brush Cleanser didn't give me immediate results. However, I did notice immediate brighter skin! Weird because this isn't a whitening product. The small brush's gentle on the skin but actually gets the job done. The thing is, I have some pesky blackheads that since forever but refuse to become friends with... they're slowly disappearing, so I have to give this a 4 out of 5.

✿ The Etude House AC Clean Up Toner is so good! It smells so fresh and it doesn't sting at all. Amazing, right? Especially for a toner. Some of you may be wondering why do you even need a toner? because they finish the job. They do! After cleaning your face, a toner helps eliminate any residue, balance your skin's ph and tighten the pores! You need to be careful, using the wrong toner could strip your face of their natural oils and leave your skin feeling dry. This one treats redness and acne prone skin.
✿ This was heaven sent! This may be TMI but it was actually my shark week, last week. Which means I get the most random pimples all over my face. They're not crazy red acne pimples but close enough. The Etude House AC Clean Up Pink Powder Mask actually helped to dry them out and just by that, I think this is a great product. Not to mention, it tightened my pores a bit. It doesn't really dry matte hard like I initially thought, so this shouldn't be a problem for people with sensitive skin. However, if you're looking for a pore tightening anti-acne mask, this isn't really what you should go for.

✿ After you've done all of that, you apply your AGATHA Emulsion and Essentiel Skin. You're at the point where you're probably like, okay, is it over? But no. The emulsion basically restores your skin to it's most optimum condition. Giving your skin a small moisturizing boost while adding some good oils to the skin and last but not least, (Unless you decide to use the Etude House Honey Cera Cream.) the Essentiel Skin. This lotion-like substance will just seal everything you just previously did while adding some more moisture to the skin.
I like using these two together simply because they're from the same brand, but to be honest, I'd rather the Etude House cream than the Essentiel Skin. It smells nicer and works as a firming and overnight cream.

✿ The COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch was my least favorite simply because I don't have much use for it. My face isn't really acne prone, it's just very oily. So, if anyone else has ever used this, please let me know if it's actually good? It has really nice reviews online, and the claims look fantastic, I just can't really vouch for this product at the moment.

✿ Sadly, this pack only contained one mask so I'm not so sure if the Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack's really worth the hype? At least I took really creepy selfies! Haha. Anyways. Knowing this was the only mask, I left it for longer than expected. Basically, until the mask felt a bit dry because my skin absorbed everything! It did leave my skin feeling amazing, I can tell you that. Plump enough to forget I even have a few fine lines! So, yay?

✿ This is the cream I mentioned previously. The Etude House Honey Cera CreamIt smells so good and I love that it doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky. I've used night creams before and they usually feel so icky, unlike this one. Oh, and it's not really a night cream, just a cream you can use day and/or night. I've been putting this on my smile lines, and wait for my skin to soak it up, I swear I'm going to have a baby face forever and ever. I think it's firming properties real. So, 5 out of 5!

✿ This was a fun little thing to try on, I kinda wish it brought more than one. I didn't really feel the steaming part on the REPIEL - Smart Hair Mask Magic Steam? But then again, this one was just a fun mess to try out. I've never used a product like this! It did leave my hair feeling really soft. I do wish I could try it out again to compare results since I can't really tell if it was life changing or not.

✿ And last but not least, the Tony Moly Panda's Dream Pocket Lip Balm. Yes! A lip balm. Because this box literally caters to your entire head. I took for granted this lip balm, ok? I admit it. At first, I thought it was just a cute little trinket. Since I decided to commit regime to this for a whole week, I decided not to skip any step of the products and guess what, no regrets! This balm is almost as good as the expensive one I own from Fresh... dum dum dum. No joke. My lips aren't super dry for the most part but they have their moments. Right now my lips feel really soft, never overlooking cute balms again!

At last, we've reached the end of this review! Do you think you can manage to commit to this routine? It can be a bit daunting at first, but I honestly saw improvements on my skin, and the products aren't even empty yet! (Except the one-time use ones, duh!) Any specific product you'd like to try?

YesStyle Beauty Box - Korean Skincare Essentials ✿REVIEW✿

February 27, 2017

✿ ✿ ✿

Hello, kittens!
I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day yesterday! Hopefully, you were able to spend it with your friends and loved ones. If not, well that's okay! Hoping you still had an awesome day. This is a holiday I really enjoy, maybe it's the 50% off candy the very next day, because yes! But more so for the awesome Valentine motif everythings companies launch. Not only are they usually red and pink themed, which are my favorite colors. They are also flower and glitter filled too!

Limecrime launched their beautiful Dreamgirl bundle which includes 3 full-sized shades:
'Dreamgirl' Velvetine - deep cranberry
✧ 'Red Hot' Velvetine - metallic cherry red
'Cheap Thrill' Diamond Crusher (lip topper) - sunset/rose shift

Like all Limecrime products, these are "PETA verified vegan and Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free."
Their Velvetines are liquid lipsticks that apply smoothly and have an amazing lasting power. Until this day I've never encountered better liquid lipsticks and with their vast range of colors. If you want a more in-depth review on their performance, you can check my other previous Velvetines reviews posts on the blog here: Velvetines Reviews ♡

These colors are all too gorgeous to describe! The Lipstick that I was most curious out of the bundle was the Diamon Crusher: 'Cheap Thrills'. They had released this line a while back, but I don't know why they never really called for my attention. Maybe because I thought they'd be too bright for daily wear or too sheer?  and guess what, I was right! At least 'Cheap Thrill' it, to the point that I might just have to wear this for night time looks, or maybe more editorial looks?  Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful. Just too overwhelming for me.
Also, they're a mess as lip toppers. Which is what they were intended for.

You can see the photo swatches I posted below that I applied it on top of the already applied and dried Velvetine. Wha a mess. As if you couldn't already tell in the photo! Hah. It was just so hard to get an even coat... and it took forever to dry.
The end result's beautiful but, I guess I'd rather just wear it with lighter colors and not these intense ones. Maybe I'll make a further post trying this with other much lighter Velvetines. Would you guys like that?

My favorite was Red Hot. I swear their metallics are stealing my heart. It's such a unique shade of red! To be honest, I've read really bad reviews about these Metallic Velvetines, hence why I haven't taken the plunge to make a huge order. However this one and the other one I own, Jingle are just so good and lasting! Seriously no complaints here.

Anyways, There you have it. I hope you all enjoyed my quick review. When it comes to Velvetines I feel that they're always so consistent with their formula that I basically just need to try and swatch them for you all and if something's really bad, it'll be more than obvious!

Have a wonderful week, good vibes forever!

Limecrime: Dreamgirl Bundle ✿REVIEW✿

February 15, 2017

✿ ✿ ✿
Hello, kittens! ♡
A few of my friends were eagerly waiting for this specific review for a while now so at last, here it is! I have so many mixed feelings about this palette that I'll go into details further in the post, hence why It took so long for me to actually complete and publish this... Mind you, In case you're curious, I usually write multiple reviews/posts at a time which takes forever to pro-read and edit everything! A little price to pay for wanting everything to be perfect, forward and honest.

Anyways! Two awesome cruelty-free brands, one glorious palette! The Better Together collection was a collaboration between the brand's Too Faced & Kat Von D Beauty. This collection retails online for $65.00. Pricey, right? However, to its defense, it does include two full sized products of the Better Than Sex Mascara ($23) and the Tatoo Liner in Trooper ($20). So technically this palette's actually $22... sort of, right? Too bad the only way of getting this palette is actually purchasing the bundle.
As a designer, I think aesthetically this palette is simply wonderful. From the little details like the fact that the two sides can detach whenever you want or both the notes, the owners wrote on the inside of the packaging. I wish companies would do things like this more often, focusing on details instead of mass producing products just to make a profit. The art is in the details.

This palette doesn't include a mirror which has stirred some complaint in the makeup community but honestly, I don't care because chances are you need another palette anyways to create a full look using these colors. This is actually where my mixed feelings come along; I feel you need other matte colors to bring out the true potential of this palette.

The colors are beautiful, yes. But it's really hard to get a cohesive look with these colors. I feel like you can only do two looks at most using both the sides of the palette. Let me explain, the norm when creating a full eye look If you don't already know, of course! Is to put your base color, crease color and then a brow highlight. Since these colors are so different it's really hard to blend them together into, let's say, for example, you're trying to do a smokey eye with the red swoon from Kat's side you have no other option than using the black or gray and let's be honest, a smokey eye with this red color would look killer with a dark brown on the crease, anyways! That's just preference but honestly, this palette needed least more matte or transition colors.

Supposedly, they're hinting of doing a Vol. 2 of the Better Together, so maybe that has something to do with the selection of these colors but again, these are just my two cents.

The colors aren't bad. They have a bit of a kick back but like I've previously stated, maybe it's the brushes I'm using. They're smooth to the touch and blend really nicely. I won't go into every single shade into detail... however, I will mention my biggest letdown, ever. It pains me so much to say so because It is my favorite shade out of this entire collection; Swoon.
I used Primer. Okay? I literally had to dig into my makeup box and find my Urban Decay's eyelid eye primer just to see if I could make this color work. This is such a big deal since I hardly ever use primer on my lids because I really dislike how it feels. Honestly concealer really always does the trick for me yet this color kept fading away... At first, you're super excited because it looks so pigmented and you're like hell yeah super feeling yourself but by the time you finish doing your face, the color starts looking less and less vibrant... and by the end of it, it just looks like a really weird copper color.
Really bad.
On the other hand a color I feel needs recognition is LovelyI had no expectations whatsoever on this color and bam. It's actually a true pastel-pigmented pink! I still don't know how I'm going to use this, or if I'll ever will, but at least it's true to its color when swatched. Oh, and Yours, It's Such a beautiful true gray that I see people using when blending dark smokey eyes.

Last but not least we have the Better Than Sex Mascara and Tattoo eyeliner in trooper. Both products are definitely not new to me since I use them religiously on the daily. The hype is real with this mascara. believe me, I was in denial for the longest of time until I received a sample in the Ipsy bag. Since then, I really think this is such a good mascara. It doesn't clump your eyelashes and it gives them this thickness that seems almost as if you're wearing falsies without the hassle. I've lived off drugstore mascaras for the longest and never understood the difference until this came along.

Finally, we have Trooper which I've come to the conclusion that everyone already owns this eyeliner. Am I wrong? Do I even need to review this? Seriously, who doesn't own this already? Haha, It's so dark and pigmented, a true black. It goes easily on top of other eyeshadows without feathering and to be quite honest making a wing with this is a breeze. Unless, well... you have a bad pulse or you're just bad with eyeliner? Then I suggest you use the tape method which works every single time!

We've come to the end of this review. I love you forever if you made it all the way 'till the end. This one took me quite some time to finish! So, what are your thoughts, I'm curious! Do you feel the same way, or is it just me? Do you think it was over hyped, or is it just as you had hoped for? Are you planning on getting this If you don't already?  Don't forget to leave a comment below this post and have a wonderful weekend!
